Welcome to the Shepherd Laboratory website. We are located in the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Colorado Denver Anschutz Medical Campus.
NEWS: We are moving to the Department of Physics and Center for Biological Physics at Arizona State University in August 2019. There are openings for graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and staff members. We are particularly interested in persons interested in pursuing research in three areas:
1. Developing and applying novel light sheet and single molecule methods to a variety of biological problems, including lung organoids.
2. Adapting existing high-throughput RNA imaging methodologies to brain and lung cell census atlases and tracking progenitor cell lineages in the developing lung.
3. Exploring stochastic versus deterministic mechanisms in the fetal programming of lung development.
If any of these areas is interesting to you, please contact us here: firstname.lastname@example.org
