qi2lab

Welcome to the Quantitative Imaging and Inference Lab (qi2lab) website. We are located in the Department of Physics and Center for Biological Physics at Arizona State University.

The qi2lab develops and applies quantitative imaging methods to understand self-organization and cellular “decision making” in the context of the physical principles that govern the microscopic world. Please see our publications for examples of our work.

We try our best to practice open science. Please see our lab GitHub for microscope control, analysis, modeling, and links to example datasets. An example is our Images 2 Knowledge video and code tutorials on 2D structured illumination microscopy theory and GPU-accelerated reconstruction using our python package.

We are currently recruiting for graduate students and postdocs. For graduate students, please apply either through the Physics or Neuroscience program. For postdocs, please send a cover letter and cv to douglas.shepherd (at) asu.edu.
